1947 Rolls Royce Silver Wraith Sedanca de Ville
 by H.J. Mulliner

1947 Rolls Royce Silver Wraith by H.J. Mulliner finished in the Royal colours of Maroon over Black. The interior is trimmed with Black hide to the front and Grey West of England wool cloth for the rear compartment.  In recent years the car has had in excess of £100,000 spent on her. This included completely re trimming the interior to the highest standard with the finest leather, wool cloth and Wilton carpets. Also undertaken was the refinishing of all the interior woodwork, again this was completed by the very best London specialists. During the last ownership the car had much mechanical maintenance including a complete overhaul of the rear axle and diff, rear suspension, wiring, cooling system, fuel system, ignition, exhaust brakes and front suspension and new radial tyres. In short the car has been maintained to the highest possible standard and is ready to be used and enjoyed. Offered with a large history file detailing not only the recent expenditure but also including some early history and copies of the Rolls Royce build sheets.  Chassis number WTA 65 was delivered to H.J Mulliner on the 29th November 1946. The body selected by the customer was design number 7019, a Sedanca De Ville. WTA65 was number 6 of just 13 Silver Wraiths to have this body fitted. Interestingly design 7019 was the first body to be fitted to a Silver Wraith after the end of the war. Overall this Silver Wraith is undoubtedly the finest example we have seen and would make a fantastic addition to any collection. A prize winner at any show.
